The Edith Stein Foundation Wrocław was founded in 1989 as one of the first Polish non-governmental organisations.
The main aim of its work is to promote the German-Polish and Christian-Jewish understanding as well as to contribute to the building of a civil society in post-communistic Central Eastern Europe.
With the Edith Stein House as an institution for the cultural and academic dialogue the Foundation wants to enrich the cultural life in Wrocław.
